hey, i took NOV '09 SAT1 test and my score sucks.it is not even near to what i was expecting.I intended to apply in US universities, can somebody please tell me that if I re-take it in January(since Dec registration closed when the Nov results were out) will it be considered by the universities. The deadlines are in February.
thank you in advance !!! :)

Email the admission office of the universities you want to apply to and ask… because I don’t think all universities have same deadlines for receiving scores :S

Check with your schools to be certain, but a general rule of thumb is that you have to have taken the test before the application deadline, even if the scores won’t be available till after the application deadline. So, if your deadline is February, your January test scores are probably fine. Good luck.

thank you !
I was going to apply in ohio state university, university of wisconsin-madison,washington university in st.louis and rhodes college.
my score was 1630,490 in reading 620 maths 520 writing. should i apply with this score?because washington university has 15 jan deadline and ohio university though has a 1 feb deadline it says to take test 6 week prior to the deadline. There is an admission fee and my family doesnt afford much,I dont want to apply where there is a clear rejection.I needed sincere advise
!

I don’t think you have a very good chance with those scores, but you can never be sure. Your school grades, recommendations, and Extra curriculars are important too.
Also, most colleges waive applications fees if your school counselor sends a fee waive request.
