<p>I am applying to a common app school EA. I need to know if they still require you to submit a midyear report or 1st quarter grades. I have been all through their website, and I haven't found anything that could answer my questions. Should I just call admissions and ask them personally? </p>

<p>Yes, you should call admissions and ask directly. They may request first quarter grades. They will almost certainly want first semester grades, even though those grades won’t count in the admissions decision if you’re admitted (they will if you’re deferred). That just lets them know that you haven’t completely goofed off in second quarter.</p>
