<p>Deadlines tend to be local time, which means Eastern Time for schools in eastern United States.</p>
<p>It is generally according to the time zone of the college to which you are applying. It is not uncommon for the application websites to get very busy in the last few hours, so it would be a VERY good idea to get yours in today - as soon as possible.</p>
<p>Usually application sites crash hours before applications are due (and "due" means local time, their time), so the wisest students get their application in at least days ahead.</p>
