URGENT:Leaving SAT/ACT section blank bc retaking

5 important questions.
I've heard October isn't too late to take the SAT and that I can just leave the test date there without a number.

But do October SAT scores come out before QB decides finalist status?

And if they do, how and who do I send them to? Questbridge? Or actual QB schools? Sending to QB schools won't really help with QB NCM if QB didn't determine you a finalist yet, right? So logically somehow I'd send it to QB?

and 3. How do you send SAT scores to the program? Can I just print it out from online and fax or mail it?

I heard to be a QB finalist they don't need official score reports, but once you're in the match process, you do...

so 4. Not that there's any point in this, but does that mean once I get my October SAT score, I will be able to update my app after the app deadline for the purpose of recording my SAT score? Or at that point unofficial SAT scores is impossible to give, and I need to mail an official report to give any standardized tests?

and 5. I already took the SAT, but really don't like my score. Can I just not put it down, and put down the October SAT date instead, THEN after I send in the app, later fax my newest scores? I dont want my other one considered, but is there anything wrong with submitting the QB app without any standardized tests?

Please help.

Questbridge allows you to leave it blank if you are taking a test after Sept 30, but you have to report those scores to the colleges you ranked, assuming you were made a finalist. I think those scores will not be considered for being selected as a finalist (you might wanna double check with questions@questbridge.org or .com). October SAT comes online on oct 29 so its after questbridge tells you if u made finalist or not. You should report those scores as soon as you can to your ranked colleges. Idk about sending sat scores to QB. for the prep scholarship, I just faxed my official paper copies of SAT scores and ACT. Email questbridge to be sure. After the deadline, just report your scores to the colleges, not QB. I dont think there’s nothing wrong with not putting anything down, but you gotta realize that some colleges want to see all your sat tests and act tests, and if they use your QB app and don’t see the scores that you send them later, along with your new scores, idk what they will do. Check with QB.

For me, should I report my SAT scores? I got 2030 the first time and 1950 the second time. If you report your SAT II tests, does that mean you also have to report your SAT I tests too, since colleges want all SAT tests?

I took the ACT once and got 33, and just took it today. I think i scored lower again, but felt pretty good about my essay. might raise it from the 8 I got last time. Is that fine, having a lower score the second time I took a test?

I think they will only look at your highest scores.
I already took the SAT, but the reason I just don’t want to put my past scores is because I feel like I’ll do alot better this time, and I only want QB to count my latest scores in determining whether or not I’ll be a finalist for the college match.

Are you doing the college match right now or the prep scholarship?
but yeah I think you should definitely report. and even though you have SAT IIs, you still need your SAT score. They’re not interchangable. =)

What happens if you don’t report any scores by September 30th?
Could you still be selected as a finalist?

I’m taking Oct SAT IIs, & Nov. SAT
Would this conflict with finalist status?

I thought you were allowed to change your application after Sept. 30? Like you’re not allowed to change your college rankings or stuff like that but I thought you were allowed to change your test scores?

I’m taking the ACT in October and SAT Subject Tests too and I’m just going to have to send those scores directly to the colleges on my ranking. Hopefully they end up being good…
