<p>My move in date is tomorrow the 16th 12 noon but I wont be able to get to SD tomorrow because something really urgent came up. Do you guys know if it's fine if I move in a day late? And I wouldn't lose my housing would I? (btw i'm in sixth college, incoming freshman)
Besides getting my key what exactly would I miss?

<p>As I understand, you wouldn’t lose your housing unless you don’t check in by the 21st or 22nd. Most people won’t check in until the 19th. All you might lose is the extra $50 per night that you paid to check in early on the 16th, 17th, or 18th.</p>
<p>you’re in sixth!! me too!! i agree, i think it’s fine if you move in late as long as you don’t miss orientation. and a tip, bring a lock for your drawer.</p>
<p>NO matter what, don’t check in later than Tuesday, the 22nd, else you’re losing your housing contract. I dont know about orientation and stuff, but the 22nd is the BIG “DONT MISS NO MATTER WHAT” date.</p>
<p>And make sure you check in during the res life hours…or you wont be able to get a key to your room.</p>
