Hey guys. I recently got a job offer at the fortune 500 company, Johnson & Johnson for a 6 month Supply Chain co-op. I am a double major (Biology and Supply Chain) and hope to go to medical school at the normal time. I'm really curious to see if taking a semester off to pursue this co-op would be worth it in going to medical school, and whether or not i should take it.

bumpppppppppp :?

pardon my ignorance but how do supply chains tie into examining patients, diagnosing illness, and prescribing treatment?

Take the job, job ALWAYS trumps everything else. I would not even think for a second. In addition, you can continue taking classes. I have been doing it for many years, got my BS and MBA this way for free as various employers paid for it. I even took care of the family at the same time.
Any proffessional job is absolutely invaluable experience that cannot be obtained within academia. Everybody recognizes that.

A co-op job offer for Supply Chain at Johnson & Johnson is perfect for a double major bio/supply chain student. If you are not confident that you will or want to go to medical school, then having this experience will set you apart upon graduation.

^It definitely will be a huge plus on your Med. School application, something that will make you to stand out. Just plunge, do not ask. Many will envy you!
