Is the common app for ED due tonight (10/31) at 11:59 or tomorrow (11/1) at 11:59? One of the people writing me a letter of rec just notified me that they wouldn’t be able to submit their letter until tomorrow.

YOUR app is due by 11:59pm on 11/1.
For most schools, a rec arriving after the deadline won’t matter anyway. But you are responsible for your app being submitted by the deadline. Don’t wait for the rec.
Thanks for your help. I thought the school wouldn’t receive the letter of rec if it wasn’t finished by the time I submitted my application. Is this not the case?
And what do you mean by the letter of rec not mattering? Do you mean that the admissions office won’t consider it or that they won’t care that it was late?
