<p>Students who had planned to apply to institutions whose deadline was March 1st but were not able to do so for some reason, must check in with the respective universities because most of the universities whose deadline was March 1st have extended it to March 3rd because March 1st fell on a weekend.</p>

<p>Universities that have extended their deadline are:
Columbia University
University of Texas @ Austin
University of Virginia</p>
