MY boyfriend and I sent our materials to Yale between early and late November. It seems that they have not received our stuff yet. What now? Do we wait? Or resend?

Why does "it seem" that they haven't received anything? Did you submit your portion of the application online? Call them tomorrow and ask. I wouldn't wait. I can see that there might be problems with someone's application, but for there to be a problem with both yours and your boyfriend's seems highly unlikely.

Yale received the electronic commonapp, but has received neither the teacher recs nor school transcripts. Should I call or email them (they are not replying to my emails!)? Or just resend?

Have you verified with your school and your teachers that they sent in their materials?

If you know that your school and teachers have done their jobs, I'd call Yale. The admissions officers are crushed and are not the ones to check on the status of apps, the person who answers the phone at the admissions office will know the right person to check into your situation.

Could your school possibly fax the information to Yale? My son had a critical piece missing, which had been sent already, but he told his school and his school faxed it to the number on the status check site. It was recorded the next day. If your status page tells you what's missing, then I would just send it in the most efficient way possible, rather than try to verify by phone what exactly is missing.

my boyfriend will have to check with the schools. for me, i sent in my homeschool documents and exam transcripts.

i ahve a similar problem. i have one teacher rec missing, but I dont know which one it is, so i dont know which to send. How do I contact the yale admissions office, to ask them which rec they have?

Yeah, I have the same problem as cory.

bunp, anyway to contact the admissions office?

Just call the main admissions number.

I'm the boyfriend. And one of my teachers sent it, and the other 2 gave me the sealed envelopes to send myself. Nothing is there yet.

It even says that they have yet to receive my SAT scores. I sent the scores 2 months back to all my schools and the rest have received it.

So, have you called yet?

I sent all my materials in around mid-december and all of it has arrived fine, including SAT's and transcripts.

You should probably call

In the application status, it doesn't list the midyear report. Do I just assume it's been recieved? I sent it two weeks ago.

i called and boy was the lady rather terse; but it turns out that there was a mix-up with the filing for both us. sucks to be us.

looks like an envelope got lost on the way though.

all the other universities I have applied to have recieved my materials except YALE. is emailing them an effecient way of checking if they have recieved my materials since I am 100% sure they have been senty by my school in mid deceember.
