BC, UMich, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, Northwestern, and UC Berkeley - you should have no problem at any of these. Although they are though to get into, you definitely have the stats to make it into all of these! Freshman year can be a hard adjustment, and college admissions staff members know that. Don’t worry too much about it. You have stellar grades otherwise.

U Chicago and Stanford are high matches or low reaches, depending on how you look at it. However, both of these institution value individuality and independent thinkers more than anything - so if you highlight those qualities on you app, you have more than an average shot of getting in!

The Ivies - Cornell, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, and U Penn - are all pretty much crapshoots. Most kids applying have stats as great as yours. That’s not to say you have no chance though! In fact, I would be that you’ll get into at least 2-3 of these. It all depends on what they need in their incoming class - if you happen to fill a “space” they need, you’re totally in, because your stats are absolutely Ivy-worthy!

All in all, you will be successful wherever you go. You are clearly brilliant and motivated, and all of these colleges would be lucky to have you! I wish you all the best in this process!
