Urgent Pls!!! Chemistry Olympiad Help!!!

Hey guys,

I self studied AP Chem last year and got a 5 and I have a pretty solid background in chem.

This year I want to give the Chemistry Olympiad a try, and make the cutoff and win the local exam to get semifinalist for my school.

But the rules aren’t clear to me. Are only two people allowed to win per school, or can it be more than two people as semifinalists per school as long as you make the cutoff?

I need to start right away because the Olympiad is next month. So, if someone who is familiar with the rules can reply back ASAP, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

Up to four people from your school may compete in the local exam.
However, only up to two people from your school may compete in the national exam.
So, say, if four people from your school competed at the local level, and three made the cutoff to advance, only the two highest scorers of the three would get to go on to the nationals.
