URGENT! Postmark or by date?

<p>I don't know if my application materials should be at Harvard's office by Nov.1, or if the postmark should be before Nov. 1?
And I am going to apply for FA for the EA, should the materials be arrived at their office by Nov.1 too?

<p>Electronic materials (Common App, Supplement and CSS Profile) must be sent by November 1st. All other materials sent by USPS, Fedex, UPS, or some other carrier must be postmarked by November 1st.</p>

<p>“must be postmarked”… this is a soft target. They don’t want stragglers who take advantage but they’re not going to toss a Nov 3rd marked envelope in the trash either. They actaully WANT to read your files.</p>

<p>Harvard’s file room does not open email attachments. You can fax the income certificate when you apply for financial aid, or send it by mail.</p>
