URGENT! Problems in the arrangement of a CHINESE name!?

My friend has a Chinese name on her official documents. On her green card/passport, it is shown that her FIRST name has "two" names, instead of having those 2 names separated as first and middle.
For example:
First Name- Xin Ming (a space between) INSTEAD OF
First Name- Xin and Middle name is Ming.

However, on collegeboard/Commonapp, she put down her name like the "2nd" example, not the "1st". Will the colleges be confused about the fact that she put down her first name as Xin and middle name as Ming, instead of just Xin Ming as her first name all at once?

Thank you! I am sorry if it is too long!

Colleges have encountered this similar middle-first name confusion with numerous students from Vietnam, China, and S Korea. I’m sure it’s no problem at all, as long as you don’t use fake documents or identifications. If you’re still feeling uncertain just write them a brief note explaining the situation.

thank you very much! hope it will be fineeee

Don’t worry, colleges are used to wonky names. Here in Latin America we have three or four names (First, optional Middle, Father’s Last, Mother’s Last) and that always makes for fun switching of names. Nothing bad will happen!
