Please give me your honest advice on this.
ON May 6 I am going to take either the Math IIC or Math IC. Ive taken practice tests for both and on the IC I have gotten 800s and the IIC i have gotten ~730.

WHICH ONE SHOULD I TAKE? What looks better a 800 on Math IC or a 730 on IIC. I am not sure what I want to study yet but I am pretty sure I do not want to go to engineering school (most engineering schools require Math IIC) I am consdiering wharton. Please help me make this decision. Thank you.

naturally 800 is better. pity most colleges only accept iic.

Years ago, when I took these, the first time through I took US History and then Math IC--and got scores of 703 and 792. I thought I was fine until someone pointed out that to apply to an Ivy (which I did) I should take the Math IIC test.

Also, I was so upset about the one problem I missed (I still know the problem to this day) that I went back and took both Math IC and Math IIC at the same sitting--and got 800s on both.

If you really are that good at math as you claim, just take both tests. The schools that only need the one result will take the higher score, and the Ivys and other highly ranked schools you apply to will take the Math IIC score.

P.S. I never did major in Math, though--but math helps a lot in other areas.
