Urgent Question Help

I have read online that if you enroll in Chem21 but have AP credit for Chem you will be kicked out of the class and/or forced to enroll in a more advanced chem class. Is this true?

I plan on taking Chem21L in the fall even though I received a 4 on the AP Chem Exam.

When I started at Duke I was told that declining an AP credit is always an option...maybe that's changed? Also, have you considered chem 23?

Yeah, I have considered it but I am really not comfortable taking Chem23. Chemistry has always been a hard subject for me. The 4 on the AP test was really a fluke. And I took the course over 2 years ago and have forgotten literally EVERYTHING.

Consider chem 22 too. I would stay away from chem 23.

Oh in that case, then why not just take a whole year of 21/22 as a refresher course to brush up on shaky stuff?
