Urgent Question - Worried

1) E-mail the campuses you’re interested in and get their input. In some cases, they won’t tell you whether the classes are transferable or not, as they don’t do pre-evaluation of transcripts. You’ll just have to apply and find out. I recommend you apply for academic renewal at your CSU if at all possible.

2) More often than not, counselors at CCC’s are bozos. I knew more than my counselor about transfer admission when we met. It was pretty eye-opening.

3) I couldn’t tell you. I’m stumped on that one.

4) Yeah, maybe, but it has to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5) Again, they’ll throw ALL of your UC-TRANSFERABLE classes into a big pot and spit out an overall UC-transferable GPA. That will be the GPA that weighs on their admission decision.

you didn’t get credit for them because you did not pass them. you didn’t get grades for them because NO school puts another schools grades on their transcript. this is what your counselor most likely meant when they said that they “didn’t transfer.”

and for the last time, YES ALL OF YOUR UC TRANSFERABLE CLASSES WILL “MERGE” WITH YOUR CURRENT GPA!!!

at this point, I feel like you are just trolling.

^Did I ever say I failed all of them? NO I DIDN’T.

I passed half of those classes.

And the counselor told me they STILL wouldn’t be transferable.

And there is no academic renewal for this situation. I already asked.

then listen to your counselor, who is obviously wrong, and don’t do anything.
