I read on the UFL website that the regular application deadline is on January 17. Should I also have my SAT scores in by this time?
The reason I ask is that my December SAT scores are delayed. When the scores came out on December 19th, the collegeboard website said I should check back on/after December 24th. I viewed the page earlier today and my scores have yet to come in.
Now the website says if your scores have not been posted, expect them to be available by December 31st:

"Online SAT Score Reports are now available for the December SAT Reasoning Test and Subject Tests. If you took the SAT Reasoning Test, you can view and print a copy of the actual essay you wrote.
Please note: a small percentage of scores is not yet available. If your scores aren't online now, check back on December 31."

But since my scores are not even available yet, what should I do? Should I go ahead and order the score services for my old SAT even though I think I did better this time? Also, if I do that should I choose rush delivery since the website says the deadline is January 15, or is that just for the application?
My main question there is basically are my SAT scores due by the 15th, or just my application?

if you do not know the answer to this
can anyone give me the email I should ask this at?
is it admissions@ufl.edu ?? or wat?

First, i offer my condolences to you for the delayed SAT scores -- that's gotta be nerve-wracking, but you probably did just fine on the test, so don't worry too much.

I'm not sure what you meant by ordering score services (that has nothing to do with the application), but I do know that rush delivery is just another ripoff from the collegeboard. You can almost always call an admissions office and talk to someone who will allow you to send scores just a little later, if necessary. However, it doesn't seem like that should be much of an issue in your case, as the Reg. Decision 2 ONLINE APPLICATION DEADLINE is January 17, and it does say on their website that your last chance to take the SAT is January.

I was under the impression that the application deadline meant everything must be in by that date (in this case Jan 17) but it looks like they'll accept SAT scores as far as the January SAT (should be released sometime january-february, i'm guessing). But, since the January administration hasnt even been given yet, your December scores should still be covered, even if they are several weeks late.

I would still call the UF Office of Admissions to run it by them to get an official answer. Try next week, during the morning hours...and don't give up if it's busy, you will have to call several times to get through. Their number is 1-352-392-1365.

thanks for the advice/response. I will call them to make sure that I can do that
