<p>When do we hear back about hon program and scholarships?</p>

<p>Looking through old threads, it seems like honors notifications started in early Jan '10, late Feb. '11, late March '12. The Ga Tech website says April, so it’ll be awhile

<p>It sounds like first you must get an invitation to apply for honors. Then those that received the invitation to apply and send the additional essay will find out if they made it into the honors program early April. </p>
<p>If qualified to apply, I assume in the acceptance letter on 12/15 they would include the invitation to apply to the honors program? Or do the invitations to apply to the honors program come shortly after acceptance? Did anyone get an invitation to apply with your acceptance?</p>
<p>“Upon admission to Tech, students will be notified of their eligibility to apply for the Honors Program. An additional essay will be required at that time in order for a student to be considered. Applications will then be reviewed by the Honors Program Staff and invitations will be issued in early April.”</p>
<p>I emailed admissions. The invitation to apply to the honors program is separate.</p>
<p>Did they tell you when the initiations get sent out?</p>
<p>They told me to contact the Honors Dept. I didn’t though.</p>

<p>I wish they had put the essay question out there so the kids could start writing it over the break.</p>
