Urgent Question

On the Wake Forest Application on their website they mention an essay that you have to complete on a separate page.
In 2017, Transcending Boundaries will be a defning theme at Wake Forest. What boundaries have played a role in shaping the individual you are today? How
will you engage the Wake Forest community to expand your view of the world?

However on the common app this prompt/essay is not included. If i apply through the common app do I not have to answer this question? I am very confused…

@brine225, Interesting question. My guess, and it is a guess, is that you answer the questions posed in that application. Thus, if you are applying using the common application you answer those questions. I do know that colleges do have different questions on different applications. Good luck and I hope you get a black envelope from Wake.

I second WFUParent. My daughter chose to apply via the Wake Forest application instead of the Common App two years ago specifically because she liked their essay prompt better than the Common App prompts. Both applications will have the shorter supplemental questions, but the main essay will be different. It shouldn’t matter either way, so choose the avenue that makes the most sense for you.
