I submitted my Johns Hopkins application online at around 10. However, I went back to the commonapp and I didn't see it say submitted next to Hopkins so I went back to check and it did not submit. So I resubmitted the application before 12 but on central time zone so it was already 1 and it shows that my application was submitted 1/02. Does this mean that my application will not even get read?

I'd send a short e-mail to admissions informing them what happened, unless AdmissionsDaniel tells you not to fret.

well same thing happenned to me- except that the commonapp wasn't loading my essay- it took one hour to do that and now i am late- what will happen?

I would write an email to the admissions office at JHU and explain to them what happened. I think they might understand the time difference.

I would definitely email them!

No need to email us.

We will process all applications submitted throughout the day on January 1st and also any applications submitted on January 2nd. We do this because of time zone differences and server issues related to the Common App.

But do you see why I strongly suggest not procrastinating!!!
