<p>The manager at the seniors' home I volunteer at gave me my letter of recommendation a few days ago in the form of a paper document. Would it be ok for me to just attach it on the common app in the additional information section or do I have to mail this to universities I'm applying to?</p>
<p>You’re better off photocopying the LOR and mailing it to each school, I’d think. A scanned attachment might be overlooked. Having a letter come into your office which requires either scanning or physically filing will surely make it into your file.</p>
<p>Ah, I see. It’s just that as I’m living Canada, they might not receive the letters until Jan. 4/5ish.</p>
