Hello everyone,
I made a thread earlier about my SAT / SAT II problem but heres a thing. Im just wondering. I did my Math II and got 800 and Physics and got a 760. Should I register for Physics this January to get an 800, Chemistry to get a high 700 / 800 and math level 1?]
Do more SAT IIs increase the strength of my application? And do I really need this?
Thank you very much!!

No, they don’t. Universities only consider two of your highest scores. Giving math level 1 is totally pointless and if I were you I’d try for an 800 on physics, not that you need it.

More than one SAT II in either math and or science will not increase your chances of getting into MIT. However, I disagree with bluebilla, I don’t think the same is true for all universities. Some will look at all your SAT II’s and getting many 800’s may make for a stronger application to some of those other schools.

Thanks for the reply

I’m not applying to any that accept Jan scores. Should I do it just for MIT or is a 760 sufficient?

A 760 is sufficient for MIT.

Registration deadline has passed for internationals, I am gonna polish my essays then. Maybe that’s better than having one more thing to worry about. Thanks for your help!!
