I'm in a bad situation right now, I might be applying to wharton ed and I've already screwed up by not giving the SATs last year. Anyways, I have to give my SAT II in november at all costs, however I cannot take up any of the sciences (because I've studied accounting, econ in my high school) neither can I take up a language like french or spanish.

I can only take up maths, histories and english literature. I'm not good at all with english literature and world history (which I'm interested in) isn't offered in november. That leaves me with US history, and not being a US resident, I probably wouldn't do as good in it. Can I take up both Math I and Math II as my two subject tests or do I need the second subject to be something other than maths? I'm exceptionally good at maths and can expect a score of 1500 plus on the two of them. English literature or us history might bring me down to something like 1300's.

Advice needed ASAP, so I can register for it. =X

Calling them is a good idea. As an international student, not doing extremely well in English or US History SAT 2 is not a big problem in my judgement. I would pick one that you can think you can do best besides Math and go for it.

BTW, what kind of high school does not require any science in their curriculum? That is unheard of in the US.

I read in their FAQs or somewhere that they are ok with november scores for ED, as long as we rush our scores to them. My question was that whether I could choose both of the math subjects, that is level 1 and 2, instead of US history or english literature. Btw, anyone has an experience of which one out of literature and us history would be easier for a person who has to start from ground level for either of the two subjects. Please let me know, I want to make sure that sat II doesn’t ruin anything for me.

Taking Math I and Math II is a BAD idea. They would rather see you take Math II and a subject test other than math. If that is not possible, you might want to apply RD and give yourself more time to come up with a coherent strategy.

I would strongly recommend not taking both Math 1 and 2 since all lot of schools say that they will not count those as two subject tests for the requirement. Not sure about Penn specifically, but it’s probably not the best idea

I suggest you take Math II and English Literature. That seems like your best shot at getting higher scores. If you’re not a US resident, I highly doubt you would test well enough on the US History exam. Taking both maths is a BAD idea. Just remember to rush your scores.
