please help…technically i only took the new SAT twice, but i think they still count the old one…and im not sure if the 2 math SAtII will fill the requirement…i really dont want to take any at all, but i will if i have to

Personally, I think you're fine. My scores were lower than yours and I got in ED. But you have to take you GPA, classes, essays, etc. into consideration, too. But even so, I think you're scores are pretty good and you should be fine.

i would always take again, but thats just me. better scores can never hurt. the writing and lit scores hurt, but SAT I and math II's are ok...i guess i would take SAT II's again, and try to improve in Lit...or a science or another humanity, shooting for 650+

thanks for replying...i was thinking of retaking the lit again, but dont really want to pay about $30 just for a single test. Also, my rank is about 8/409, GPA shoud be around 3.9X unweighted, many AP classes, shuld have gud essays, if that wud help me. Would Penn accept the 2 math SATII's for the requirement, btw?

for one thing......it doesnt matter how many times you took the old one or new SAT....they only look at your best score in each section m,cr,w....i took the SAT Is a total of 5 times...and my scores varied all over the place. also......you really only need two SAT IIs....having just two maths....isnt a good idea....they told my friend who only had two maths...that it would hurt him by not giving them a good picture of him...and he was rejected ED. but since you have lit...youre fine....but if youre not content with a 600...take it again....or take it again and take two different sat iis or take both math SAT IIs and improve them if you want while youre there since you can take three.

if you really think you can boost your SATI score and you're that concerned about it you could take it...but the don't recommend taking it more then three times...they still take hte old one...so you realy have taken a total of three times...on the other hand the SATII could use some imporvement...techincally the two maths would fill hte requirement but it wouldnt look too good...personally i took both maths but I also had physics whihc i did really well on
