URGENT: Should I do priority deadline with a bad SAT II Score?

Hi everyone, so I am wondering if I should submit my application with a bad SAT score. I am retaking math 2 on Saturday but right now I have a 650 (oops). Should I wait for the RD deadline or just apply now and tell Harvard I am retaking it?

Thanks!

The priority deadline really isn’t that much of a priority. It’s just when they start reading applications. As long as you send everything in before Jan 1st, you’ll be good.

I didn’t submit my app until 10 pm on January 1st, not even the personal info form you’re supposed to submit by Dec. 1st so they can open your file. I still got in. I took the December SAT to improve my scores, and I think that helped my chances a lot. I say you should wait–no one will give you extra credit for being early. The only thing that matters is the strength of your app.

A 650 on Math 2 is considered to be the mean average for all college students nationwide: See: [SAT Average (Mean) Scores](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Understanding SAT Scores – SAT Suite | College Board)

Go ace the test this Saturday!
