Hi!! So I’m in a really confusing situation.
Transferred to new college last year, love it, just tried registering for new waitlisted class. My advisor just emailed me that they accidentally accepted me last year without seeing my old college transcript and I can’t go there this semester without sending it again? I already bought my plane ticket/multiple other fees for this year. If they don’t like my previous college transcript, can they take away my admission to the university even though they accepted me without it and I’ve been attending? Kinda freaking out lol.
You won’t know until you send it to them. It sounds like you are worried about it. If there is nothing to worry about - just send it. If you get rejected, you would probably be able to appeal. Good luck.
I don’t quite understand…you already did a year at this new college and are a matriculated student? Is there a problem with your old transcript that doesn’t match the application you submitted last year?
It sounds odd but I would send the transcript ASAP. It should be no issue if you were honest about the grades and don’t owe money to the first college.
They might just need a final, official, transcript.
This happened to my daughter with her HS transcript. She started her freshman year and when she went to register for her second semester they said she didn’t have the official final hs transcript. So we sent it again (it had been sent) from the hs and also had a friend pick up a copy and mail it. When registration time came (Friday at 7 pm so all offices were closed) she couldn’t register. Turns out the college had 2 files for daughter and kept putting the transcript in the wrong file - they had 3 copies of it.
Just a paperwork problem. Just send the official transcript today.
Did they not see the transcript because you didn’t send it? Because that is a whole different animal to them having admitted to just not reviewing what you sent.
Send the transcript. My grad school lost one of my undergrad transcripts twice. Yes there were notes both times that it had been received, but it wan’t filed correctly. The third time, it did get put in the right place.
