I am going to be entering Rutgers next fall as an incoming freshmen and will be taking a bunch of science courses. I'm a decent writer but don't feel like taking expos during the fall. If I took it over the summer would it be substantially easier? I really don't want a big class and am thinking the smaller summer classes would make it easier to get an A. plus summer courses are supposed to be easier..
Any thought? i really need to know ASAP i need to sign up within a day or two

Well I don’t know about summer classes being “easier”, but I’m sure taking it by itself would mean that you could devote more time to it! I always felt more focused when I took summer classes (especially english!) So if you have the option to take it, it might be a good idea!

Honestly, it depends on how strong of a writer you are. The essays are time consuming, especially when you have less time to write them. Most freshmen take Expos in the fall, so you won’t be alone in your suffering. I would just take it in the fall. You’ll save yourself the headache (and the extra tuition).

im taking organic chem also and i wanted to take one extra class. i really need to do well because im trying to transfer. and this would also allow me to take another course besides honors physics III and calc III. or at least let me devote more time to it.

When you take Orgo over the summer, the smart thing is not taking anything else with it.
