I am a High School Junior. The college I want to go in requires – SAT or ACT and 2 Subject Tests. I took PSAT but I wasn’t able to prepare for any tests because I had to move a lot last year.

Which Test should I take SAT or ACT or both(I dont think I have much time)? And Why?

Which book(s) should I buy?

Do I have enough time to prepare for these exams? (I have more than 3.85 GPA in High School and I am a High School Junior)

The due date to take exams for my college is DEC 2007.

^ I would say the opposite. Remember that every time that you take the SAT, it goes on a permanent SAT record that will get reported when you send your SAT II scores. While with the ACT, you can take it multiple times and decide which test you want to submit, or not submit any results at all.
In short, take the ACT and if you do well, take the SAT 2s. If you do not do as well as you want, take the ACT one more time. Only after you have taken the ACT twice would I recommend that you take the SAT I.
One more thing, make sure that you take the ACT with writing. I have a friend at work whose daughter recently took the ACT without writing, and he just realized that the colleges that she will apply to next year require the ACT with writing.

Both is definitely the way to go...it gives you the most versatility and if you do much better on one, then you can submit that score over the other one :)
