Hello CC,

1) I am applying to colleges through the common app and colleges
ask you to submit the common app and a supplement. Let's say
I'm applying to five colleges and I have not yet completed the supplements
for all five, does that mean I cannot send my applications to any of them?

2) If a college asks for the common app and a supplement, does that mean
that I should have completed ALL parts of the common app when it's time
to submit my application?

Thanks in Advance :)

You can submit supplements one by one when you are ready, before or after submitting the Common App. All these elements are independent of each other. As long as you meet the deadlines, you’re fine.

1 - You send to each school independently, so you can send now to those witha 1/1 deadline, and later to those with later deadlines. If your first one doesn’t have a supplement, then you just have to complete the main application to send it.

2 - You need to have completed both the main part of the Common App and the supplements by the due date. There’s no real advantage to sending them individually, as your application won’t be reviewed until it’s complete.
