<p>So my testing center is half an hour away from me, when I can just go to my high school which is five minutes away.</p>
<p>I read this on my admissions ticket:</p>
<p>"There is a $22.00 fee for changing your test date, test type or test center. If you choose to test at any center other than the one listed on your Admission Ticket, you will be charged a test center change fee."</p>
<p>Does this mean I can just show up to another center (my school) and pay a fee?</p>

<p>at my school they had space so they let me take it there, i don't remember paying a fee or not though.</p>

<p>If you test at another test centre without first changing it on collegeboard, it is considered as standby, so you may not get to test at all.</p>
<p>If you try to change it on CB at least you know if you're guaranteed.</p>
