If I'm applying to top colleges that do not require, but recommend, SAT subject tests, which will serve me better: A 670 on Math 2 or a 740 on Math 1? Even though the percentile of the Math 1 score is much higher than Math 2 score, I'm unsure as to whether or not the prestige, so to speak, of Math 2 really matters that much. Does it? What should I do next week?

If you send an official score report (which I recommend), the college will see both scores and decide for itself which puts you in a better position.

Oh, sorry i was unclear–I haven’t yet taken the subject tests. Next Saturday will be my first and only time.

Then…how do you know these scores if you haven’t taken the tests yet? But otherwise, I agree with tokenadult…

@aeolia6: Practice Tests (the official ones)…so? Anyone?

bump…please?
