URGENT!! Transferring situation

I recently finished my A.A degree and I wanted to transfer to University of Florida but I missed the deadline. I got accepted to Florida International University with no problem but Im afraid if I start at FIU my chances of transferring to UF would be slim to none. Would it be better if I just skip Fall term altogether and not go to FIU and just apply for spring term 2013 at UF?

Im opened to various of opinions and suggestions

Please help :(

Thankk you soo much :)

If your heart is at UF it may be best not to enroll at FIU and then transfer again. If you have great grades and a compelling story, attending FIU first may not hurt you, as long as you finish the fall with a high GPA.

I know nothing of UF admissions procedure, that being said, it is generally understood that multiple transfers will make you look “suspicious” to the admissions officer, not necessarily bad, but your decision may take longer to make.

Again this is only opinion, and I do not have intimate knowledge of either institution.

Tell FIU you can not attend until the spring, get a full-time job or explore some volunteer opportunity the next 6 months, apply ASAP to UF, and again to FIU if need be, and see where you stand for the Spring semester come December.

Best of Luck!
