Urgent: UC Application- wrong 9th/10th grade courses

I am a student of the british system, I did my GCSE's (british qualifications) in grades 9 and 10. I applied to several UCs.

For my 9th/10th grade courses, I put down that i did separate Biology/Chemistry/Physics courses, getting As in them, when I was actually awarded an A in "additional science" on my transcript (did not have the transcript when I sent off application).

I did take separate classes and separate exams in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics but was awarded one grade encompassing the score of all of them.

Am I in trouble?

What do I need to do to rectify this? How do I inform them? The site says through mail-I am an international student and that could take a while. Are my chances ruined?

I am really, really freaking out about this.

Also, I put down my predicted IB grades for my 12th grade exam results, but I clarified this in the application. Was that alright? A bit late but my transcripts from my old school (I changed schools from 10th/11th grade) just came out.

Please help. urgennnt

It is a significant error, so you have to contact them through whatever means possible, but they will have it changed and it shouldn’t significantly affect your chances.

Yeah this type of errors are rarely tolerated by colleges. They take this very seriously. I would make sure I contact EVERY college, individually and ask them to change your report. Make sure you do it quickly!

Okay, I sent a letter to them and have checked that the admissions office has received it outlining the exact nature of the errors (along with how to fix them) and an apology. If I do not hear from them within a week is it safe to assume that there’s no hope of getting into the UCs?

Why would you assume the worst? It’s their job to correctly evaluate each applicant and find a reason to admit you.

Don’t jump to the most negative assumption
