I'm starting to work on my Stanford app (late, I know) but now I'm wondering if it makes sense to apply at all, because I sent resumes to all of my schools so I didn't really fill out the activities section of the Common App. I already submitted a copy for an earlier deadline, so I can't go back to change it now. Would Stanford look at the resume I sent (paper copy)? If not, I don't really see a point in applying because my extracurricular activities are one of the stronger points of my app. HELP, please!!!

You can create alternate versions of your CommonApp, which you can edit all portions. Once logged in, click “Instructions” in the left-hand side. Then on the list select “Application Versions.”

Is it okay if my counselor submits transcripts and recommendations after Jan.1? And if so, how would she be able to do this if I already submitted my application?

It doesn’t seem like you could do anything else, so at least attempt submitting the recommendations after the deadline. I believe the application students fill out is different from the recommendations. Just like all of the separate parts of the application (application, supplement, and payment), I think the recommendations would be separate. So your counselor should be able to submit it after you submit.

The Jan 1 deadline is for your application. The other stuff can arrive later so don’t sweat it.

So is the app due in 3 hours or in 27?

something around 24 hours

It is due in 26 hours and 41 minutes.

Thanks guys, that made my day(late night, in fact )!!!
