I need help! I have a decision to make and it's between University of San Diego and Syracuse. Yes very different schools in very different parts of the country. It's hot or cold. I'm thinking of majoring in business and would like some input on the programs. At Syracuse I might have a dual major in management and communications. I need help and more information about both schools social life, acdemics, internships, weather etc. Anything helps thank you.

I vote syracuse. Definately. Just suck it up and choose though.

Bengretza, I don't know anything about SD, but I don't think you can go wrong with the communications program at Syracuse. I would think you would get some very good internships there too. The worst thing will be the weather. Good luck with your decision.

"At Syracuse I might have a dual major in management and communications."

well, if you were accepted into the dual major you do and if you weren't you don't (and will have to apply to Newhouse as a dual later).....This does make a difference....

If you want to end up on the east coast for business, Syracuse would be a great choice. If you want to end up on the west coast for business, not so sure.

If communications is really what you want, however, the job placement rate at Newhouse cannot be beat on either coast.....There is actually a Newhouse in LA program for internships and jobs (not sure the specifics, but there are signs all over Newhouse advertising it).....

Then there is the weather....let's not go there......

San Diego has a better city and weather but Syracuse is a much better school. I vote for Syracuse.
