Urgent: What to do?

I am taking the December ACT in hopes of doing better so colleges can see good scores. However, I am having a dilemma...

I am aware that there is an option to immediately send your scores to colleges so they can see the scores before you do. I don't want to do that because what if I don't do as well as I previously did?

I know if I wait to see my scores first, I will get it by Dec 27th, 4 days before the Jan 1st deadline.

Is there a way I can send priority scores for the Dec ACT scores after I look at them? I want to do this for Villanova, but I don't know how to go about this. I just want to make sure the score is good before sending it to Villanova so I actually have a good shot at getting accepted.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

First of all, don’t worry: the January 1st deadline is for your app, not for your score report; most colleges will accept scores way after this deadline, perhaps even for the February administration.
And yes, as soon as you get your scores back (what usually but not always happens in the first day possible) you can send them to colleges through the priority report option if you want, but I bet it won’t be actually necessary - I would call the college and ask!

Thanks a lot!
