urgent - what's the differerence between bioengineering and bioengineering: biotech ?

I don't know which major to put, and I'm planning to submit tomorrow. I couldn't fit it in the title, but I don't know what bioengineering: bioinformatics is either. Help!

This is where you learn the importance of the General Catalog. ;) Look here for a description of the various BioE majors. In a nutshell, BioE is what you’d normally think of as a biomedical engineer; biotechnology has a stronger chemical and molecular-level emphasis; bioinformatics is basically BioE plus Computer Science (you can’t directly enter bioinformatics though – you have to enter as BioE or Biotech).
