Urgent! When should I take the test?

To my utter shock when I was finally registering for SAT last night I found that all the seats in my city have been already booked. I am an international student and the SAT score's probably the only thing that could have given me the edge. If I give the SAT reasoning test in July, I'll have to give the subject tests in October. Considering that I'll have to begin applying in November will it be too late for me if I take the Subject tests in Oct? I have the other option of going 1000kms away to take the test in May ( toilsome and bad for my routine).

I think you get the October scores in time for the November deadline.

yeah, it only takes a few weeks to get scores back

Most colleges accept test scores even from the January SAT Administration. So, in my opinion, October will definitely not be too late.

You could also register as a stand by for the May test administration, if you could find a testing center that allows stand-byes!

Thanks to all of you for replying. Fortunately, I later realized that there was some technical error on the CollegeBoard website and was able to get a seat in my own city. That’s why I didn’t bother replying to your posts before but thanks anyway.
