What are friends for eh? hehe

well maguo, that sounds about right because i heard comp sci A last year was a joke, so they probably responded with a much harder test.

umm...sliding naked up and down the hallway...you realize if your dad does orientation I'm going to meet him...that mental image makes it hard to do my job lol.

Harder, but much more enjoyable, yes???.....ummm, that's all.

hey, do you like run these orientation things, KB? Can you list the dates here for me, cuz i'm trying to plan my summer vacation right now.
What all goes on at orientation? Is it any fun at all?
Also, are there any summer programs at UM which I can still apply for?

Actually, I would be able to list the honors orientation dates...but they are in my binder which is in Ann Arbor (I'm back in suburbia). I'm a parent orientation leader (basically, its my job to introduce your parents to campus and to ease their minds sufficiently enough to let you all off the leash....a bit).

At student orientation, you'll pick your classes and go through a number of programs designed to give you all the info you need to be sucessful at UM. It is fun...and fairly simulative of the college experience.

I have no idea on summer programs.

I don't think that there's anything that will let my parents let me off the leash now. You'll have to tell them that UM is the driest school ever or something.
Does anybody else know the dates?

it should tell you on wolv. access.

haha....one OL told me that her favorite question ever went something like this.

"Excuse me...I was wondering what the adult supervision is like at the fraternity parties..."

Yikes....

Page 11, I think.

Thanks. Wait, is orientation absolutely mandatory?
I just got my email account working. You guys can all email me at mguo@umich.edu. When do we get facebooks?
Back to the whole scholarship thing. How cool is this Doug Fletcher guy? Is he really chill or is he uptight about this kind of stuff?

From what i've heard orientation is pretty much mandatory. I dont know about Doug, but you can make a facebook as soon as you have your college e-mail address.

I have no idea....Doug Fletcher and I aren't really close (don't let my knowledge of his 1st name deceive you!). He's not really uptight though; if you want to tell him about your incident I'm sure he'll be understanding and non-threatening.

Yes, you have to complete orientation to register for your 1st semester.

KB

Do you think that if Doug found out later, without me having told him, that he would let me keep the scholarship? Can I have your honest opinion? Do you know people who know Doug pretty well?

I really don't think he'd care that much...but then again I'm no expert here. lol....can't say I know anybody really close to him.

Please join my facebook. You can search me by my email: mguo@umich.edu
I'm still utterly friendless cuz I just made it last night.

doesn't it suck when you have like 1 or 2 friends and it says

"You have 1 friend at Michigan"....really puts things in perspective huh lol.

KB

Yep, that's me. The antisocial nerdy asian. Just kidding.

you know what else is crazy...you have this HUGE thead basically entirely devoted to you....you should run for office at UM if you can draw this type of interest. lol

KB

I'll keep that in mind.

So, if life didn't suck enough, one of my best friends died in a car accident yesterday morning. Just a wonderful way to end my senior year.
