URGENT! Why hasn't BC received scores yet?

When I registered for the SAT I selected the colleges I wanted my scores to be sent to and paid the fee. I checked my history of sent scores today, and it says the process date was December 22. It is now January 11, and BC says they have not received my scores yet. Does it take Collegeboard three weeks to send out scores? I am freaking out right now.

As long as you have sent your scores from college board, it is fine. There is nothing else you can control. BC may not have received your scores because a bulk of the scores for their apps were sent in the last month or so, and the adcom probably hasn't processed all of them yet. I forget, does BC receive scores by mail or online? That could be another factor...

I have to admit, it's odd. I sent mine through the same date and they had them listed before Christmas break. But, like teamam said, if college board says they're there, they are. They do it online anyway, so they probably just haven't processed yet. If you're really worried, called and see.

Student, did you send your December SAT scores?

I don't think the process date on the CB website are the dates the schools process them, but the day CB processes them. I am praying BC has received these.

Yah, the process dates are the CB process dates. I sent mine in December and BC got them, but I'm sure you're fine if it CB says they went through. It's online, so they can't get lost, and even if they were BC will contact you and give you time to send them in. BC put them up quickly for me, but Brown only JUST said they got mine. Probably just processing time, no worries IMO

Alright thanks.

I'd like to add that sometimes colleges get a bit disorganized if you send the scores before you submit your actual application---this may be the case for some of you, it's happened to me already. And if you're really panicking, just call.

This happened to me a couple of years ago. Simply call BC and ask them. They sometimes process the applications, but don't update them online.
