URGENT: Will I even get into these UCs?

<p>I applied to UCR, UCSB, UCI, and UCSC - I would love to get into UCI... :/
UC GPA: 3.5 (weighted)
SAT: 1850
My ECs are pretty average to be honest.
I have a strong upward trend and a good personal statement that explains why: 3.0 gpa sophomore year and 3.9 GPA junior year.</p>

<p>Although unfortunately, I've heard some schools like UCR doesn't read personal statements?</p>

<p>I'm really relying on UCR as a match, what do you think?</p>

<p>Just curious, where did you hear that UCR doesn’t read personal statements? I’ve never heard of that.
A 3.5 UC GPA is kind of low. I think it’s fine to apply to those schools, but you should consider applying to another school as a safety (not sure if any of those are safeties for you). I know it’s kind of late, but…</p>

<p>UCR and UCSC should be fine as long as you write decent essays
UCSB and UCI are a little harder but definitely aren’t completely out of the question</p>

<p>that upward grade trend is going to help you a LOT</p>

but if u have excellent essays and a remarkable upward mark trend…u stand a chance
however u seem to stand a good chance for the other universities listed above</p>
