OK so I have an AP test day after tomorrow and I have no idea what kind of writing utensils are required/acceptable. Do you need no.2 pencils like the SAT or do you need a black or blue ball pen? Are gel pens ok? Thanks

Use no. 2 pencils for the multiple choice and a black or blue BALLPOINT pen for the essays. I would not suggest using gel pens. Good luck!

Ask your AP teacher. My school provides pencils and pens for us, so we don’t have to bring anything.

But if you have to bring something, it is no. 2 pencils only and dark blue or black ink ballpoint pens.

Last minute AP French question for this afternoon: are ballpoint pens required for the composition too? I’m assuming they are (based on this thread) but crossing out/scribbling out mistakes is so much more annoying than erasing…

^ je veux savoir cela aussi…

Bring a pencil AND a pen; I know they’ll probably weigh you down, but just suck it up.

Damn…
