yes, i just saw it…can u please give me the link to deny the offer? i can only see a link to accept my admission…?

nevermind just saw i have to email them

dodged a bullet with this one.

lol, pretty sure you don’t need to do anything to deny them. applying doesn’t necessarily mean accepting them.

@john-- You don’t HAVE to decline admission, but it is rude not to if you are for sure not going there. If you hold out on declining your offer, that is making someone on waitlist wait until your offer expires to get their admission decision. As soon as a person declines their admission offer, someone else is offered a spot.

TL;DR: not declining admission is rude.

I beg to differ. While I agree it’s respectful to decline the offer early on, I don’t think scrambling to decline your offer on April 30 is worth it or a big deal at all. It’s negligible because Purdue is going to know absolutely by may 1st. Also, most colleges don’t go to the waitlist until a specified date after may 1st, so I’m not sure how accurate the statement, “As soon as a person declines their admission offer, someone else is offered a spot.” Even if this were true, denying your offer on april 30 is seriously not a big deal.

True, I did not consider that the deadline was today.
