<p>I've been doing quite a few of these recently, but my Common App is on standby (everything is ready) and I need your advice if I should apply to Cornell ED or maybe Dartmouth (other possible RD privates: USC, Columbia, NYU, UChicago)</p>

<p>If you have to ask strangers whether you should apply to a school that you are bound to go to if admitted, then you are not ready to apply binding ED to any school. You should apply ED only to a school that is your clear first choice. Otherwise, you very well may live to regret it come April.</p>
