Did any of you receive a letter regarding how to access you URI portal? After submitting the application to URI and receiving confirmation, they sent the following email info:
Thank you for applying for admission to the University of Rhode Island! We have loaded your Common Application into our applicant database. You will soon receive a letter from us via postal mail (students living outside the US will receive this letter via email) providing you with detailed information about our application review process and how to check the status of your application online.

@netter11 We must have received a letter because my son set up his login on Nov 25th. I"m sorry but he can’t remember how he did it… He has a URI ID number and uri email address. The access is through “ecampus”

Congrats to everyone. I have a freshman there and he loves it. Especially the honors program for smaller classes.
When do we hear back?
Admitted via portal this morning…
I had my son set up his password this morning. I had to go through my parent emails. He’s actually got two emails in their system so I had him check both. Nothing yet. Does anyone know how often the portal is updated (from past years)? I know Umass Amherst sent out letters via snail mail and their portal updated after the letters were received. UMass Amherst only updated portal once a day at midnight.
Thank you @greatmom23 for the alert. My daughter checked into her portal and was happy to see her acceptance letter for the school of nursing! Very exciting indeed. We have received no letters @DonnaEv , just an update this morning. I just love CC for the wonderful spread of important information.
Yay I was accepted too. 
If anyone is curious, it says all the details of acceptance (hoping for a scholarship) will be in the letter which will be mailed soon.
Saw today that my son got in as well. Letter supposedly coming next.
Just checked portal, accepted to biomedical engineering program, will scholarship information be posted online soon as well?
Scholarship information came for us by mail but my guy applied early (I think around Dec 1) which is so important because $$$ is sometimes limited. I think it might have also been posted online via a financial page in which you have to accept different offers. The engineering program is great because you will have engineering dorms at a great location (though Pharmacy has the best dorms) and new buildings for you in your upperclassman years.
My son was also accepted today via portal. Don’t know details, but was looking to go into the Forensic Chemistry field and finance minor.
My daughter accepted yesterday by portal. Message said to look out for a letter with details to be sent shortly.
I was accepted via portal but still have not received additional info through the mail
I applied early and was accepted by portal but I have not received a letter w financial package yet, hoping it comes soon!! Also does anyone know when/how you find out about the honors program?
