URI Nursing?? Chance me??

<p>I'm currently a senior in high school and am confused about whether or not I should apply to URI for their direct entry nursing program.</p>

<p>I have a 3.5 GPA, 1000 SAT (CR+M), +100 volunteer hours at the hospital, probably 100 ish more volunteer hours from clubs and my town's public library, in NHS, first generation student, shadowing a nurse in a few days at #2 hospital in NJ, and am "ok" at science and math. Idk how well I'm going to do on my next SAT (in a few days...) but I'm expecting a better score on the ACT (in 3 weeks). </p>

<p>Even if you can't "chance" me, do you know anything about URI or its nursing program? I haven't visited yet so please tell me anything you know!!</p>

<p>My daughter goes there. Your SAT is a bit low for for Nursing. Hopefully you raised it after your post. Any other major ,except Pharmacy you would be fine. </p>

@Twinmom2014 I decided to not apply but thank you anyway :slight_smile: I don’t think I’ll be able to do much better on the SATs but I’m going to give the ACTs another try. I probably won’t apply to URI but I got waitlisted at a few other schools, so hopefully I improve my ACT score for them.
