SAT: 730CR, 740M, 770W. I'm retaking it and should score 2300+.
SATIIs: 730Chem, 750+Bio, 720+Math, 700ish Lit. (maybe lower, I got destroyed)</p>

***How much does URM status turn this process into less of a crapshoot?</p>

<p>It seems to me you’d be competive, but no shoe-in if you didn’t have URM status. It’s a shame that if you get in you won’t know if you weren’t accepted simply on your merits.</p>

<p>yeah, i was actually thinking about leaving the optional race section blank just to see what would happen.</p>

<p>…but then i came back down to earth. I’m choosing not to fight this battle.</p>

<p>cms - go ask this question on the parent’s board - ask it about whatever your entire list is. There are some very knowledgeable parents about the statistics for Af-Am admissions in particular.</p>

<p>you’re a strong candidate anyway, and of course we all know minority status will never hurt you.</p>

<p>but then i decided it would be better to do it for a school that I have no interest in just to see what would happen.</p>
