<p>With absolutely no intention of starting an AA debate, how much of a benefit do you think URM status is for early decision? I know that early decision is already somewhat of a benefit (admissions wise)...but I was just trying to gauge where being a URM applying early decision would place me at a significant/not significant advantage.</p>

<p>Yes, your URM status gives you a slight advantage. That being said, if one is really not qualified (not suggesting that you are unqualified), I don’t think they’ll get in even with purple skin.</p>
