MAY---> SAT I: 670 M 700 V
October-----> SAT I: 710 M 640 V
December------> Retaking SAT IIs

SAT II: 630 IIC 660 Wri 750 US

top 10 %

4.1/4.5 GPA UW

APUSH last year (4)
5 AP's this year

EC's are average
hopefully my recs and essay will be good.

I am Hispanic from a poor city.

I would like to double major in engineering and (economics or business).

Chances please?

u might not have to double major, they have ORFE, which is operational resources financial engineering, or something like that

They don't really have a double major option. I mean, technically they do, but it's very difficult to write two senior theses.

can i major in engineering and minor in economics?

And do you think i'll get in?

I think the best thing you have going is the URM status, otherwise you'd be on the lower end of the applicant pool spectrum. As you are though, I'd say your chances are iffy.

I think you can concentrate in engineering and get a certificate in economics, yes.

is "iffy" good or bad or just neutral?

pretty much neutral

Yes, it's so hard to evaluate chances on this board. Seeing as how we know nothing but the VERY BASIC facts about you. I think your URM/disadvantaged background status will count very much in your favor, though, because admissions officers know it's a whole lot harder for a less advantaged kid to obtain access to SAT prep books, study guides for classes, etc.
