<p>I have been looking through various chances thread and have not, if any, rarely seen any URMs applying to Stanford SCEA.</p>
<p>Are you of Hispanic, African American, or Native American origin and applying to Stanford SCEA? (I'm not sure if any other "race" is classified as an URM group).</p>
<p>Are you one??? Do you know of anyone else who is applying SCEA????</p>
<p>If so, what are your/his/her stats, ECs, accomplishments, etc...</p>

well, according to Harvard
you shouldn't find too many minorities applying EA/ED to the top-tier schools</p>
<p>actually, I believe Harvard spoke to the lack of preparation in terms of students in the inner-city (pre-gentrified) and poorer communitites not getting SAT Subject Tests (etc...) all squared away before deadlines or not having adequate guidance</p>

<p>My son has sumitted his comm app and suppl EA, But he is unsure if his teacher rec's have been sent in. What if they don't arrive by Nov.1st? is he disqualified?</p>

<p>Teacher Recs: I'm getting one from my Italian teacher of 3 years who also coaches Quiz Bowl and another from my Physics teacher who I had this past year and will have next year. I expect the first to be quite strong and the second to be decent.</p>
<p>Essays: I think they are pretty good and I really think I let my personality show in my Stanford Supplements</p>
